About Smash-a-gon
Smash-a-gon (also written Smashagon) is a free multiplayer brick-breaker you play in your browser or on your phone. Up to 12 players share one polygon arena: each of you guards one side with a paddle, a wall of bricks sits in the middle, and every ball that gets past your paddle costs you a life. Break bricks for points, send balls into your rivals' goals, grab power-ups, and be the last one standing.
Play now. There's nothing to install and no sign-up needed: you can play as a guest straight away and save your progress later.
How to play
- Move your paddle by dragging anywhere on the screen, or with the arrow keys or mouse on a computer.
- Keep the ball out of your goal. Each miss costs a life; lose them all and you're out.
- Smash bricks for points, and steer balls into other players' goals to knock them out.
- Power-ups drop from bricks: catch them for wider paddles, extra balls, shields and more.
Game modes
- Eliminator. 60-second rounds where the bottom two scores are knocked out, until the last two play a best-of-three final. Hit the leader for double points.
- Shrink. Three lives each. The arena shrinks as players go out, and the last one left wins.
- Smash-a-geddon. Twelve players, ten lives each, no shields and a chaos event every 15 seconds. Pure mayhem; last one left wins.
- Teams. Six against six, Blue against Gold, over two three-minute halves. The team with the most players left wins the half.
- Endless. Drop in and out of a 12-sided arena that never stops, and chase the daily and all-time high score boards.
You can also make a private lobby in any mode except Endless and share its code or link with friends.
Levels, cosmetics and friends
Every game earns XP. Levelling up unlocks avatars, paddle styles, ball trails, explosions and victory effects, and earns coins to spend on more. Daily and weekly tasks give extra XP. Add friends to see when they're online and jump into their game.
Who makes it
Smash-a-gon is made by an independent developer in the United Kingdom. It's free to play and paid for by ads, which only appear between games and never during play.
