Terms of use
These terms apply when you play Smash-a-gon at smashagon.io or in its apps. The game is run by an independent developer in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By playing, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains what we keep about you.
Who can play
You must be 13 or over. If you're under 18, check with a parent or guardian that they're happy for you to play.
Your account
- Your account is made the first time you play. It's yours alone: don't share it, sell it or use someone else's.
- Keep your account safe by saving it with Google, Apple or a recovery code. If you lose your device and haven't saved it, we can't get it back for you.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account.
Names and behaviour
- Player names must not be offensive, hateful, sexual, pretend to be someone else (including us), or contain personal information.
- Don't cheat: no bots, scripts, modified clients, exploiting bugs, or anything else that gives you an unfair advantage or spoils the game for others.
- Don't attack, overload or try to break into the game or its servers.
If you break these rules, we may change your name, remove your scores, or suspend or close your account. If you think we got it wrong, email support@smashagon.io and we'll look again.
Scores, rewards and items
Scores, wins and any items you unlock in the game are for fun. They have no money value, can't be sold or exchanged, and stay in the game. We may reset leaderboards, for example when we change how scoring works.
The game
The game is free. We work to keep it running and fair, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of bugs. We may change, pause or stop the game or any part of it. If we ever close the game, we'll give notice in the game where we can.
Public games are filled with computer-controlled players whenever there aren't enough people to fill every seat, so a game can always start on time. Computer-controlled players don't appear on the champions boards or leaderboards.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer law, or our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, as the game is free, we aren't responsible for losses that come from using it, such as lost progress.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and tell you in the game about any important changes. If you keep playing, the new terms apply.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you also keep the protections of your local law and can bring a claim in your local courts.
